I just found out today it would be alot of money to alter the bridesmaid dress(figured out she actually needs a junior bridesmaids dress).. it would just be better to get another dress..
the only thing is, the dress looks good on my other bm, and i really like the color(deep pink)..
my bridal party is my moh(sister who will have a different dress) and then the two bridesmaids, can the one bm dress be a different color with the same style ?
say, 1 bm apple red, 1 bm deep pink (they would be pretty similar shades)
then the moh completely different.. or is that too much variation?
should i return both bm dresses and look for a new dress for both?

why not get a different dress from the same manufacter - so they can dye the material at the same time...
you will have the same color...but different styles..
I had a size 0 jr BM...and the smallest size was 4...we got it anyway and they altered it ($50) and it looked great...maybe you could pay for the altering?

for the price of altering and the dress i could have a dress that would fit her right away..
also they said that it may not look right, with the bust.

I like that a lot. Some new pictures in Wedding Style Magazine show contrast for the bridesmaids along with different styles but the theme is flowing. Like are your flowers the colors that you posted..beautiful. The girl in red can hold mostly red flowers with a splash of pink and vice versa for the girl in pink, just a splash of red. This way, they complement each other. I think it's great. Be different. There are so many variations you could do. If it all comes together, why not. If you ask for opinions, you'll get them, HUNDREDS OF THEM!! ( just like you might not like my opinion)!! LOL

I think you can vary the shades as long as they are in the same color family and it will look great! You should just think about what you would be most comfortable with and go from there.
