From what I have heard from other brides it is so expensive, but my church only charges $450 which I don't think is horrible but I have heard girls paying $800

My ceremony fee at my RH is $400 and then I'm gonna have to pay the officiant. One RH I went to the fee was $700 so it won't be cheap no matter what you do...

I know thats what I keep telling them. They are like we paid 200 bucks and I am like well that was almost 28 years ago.

my cermeony at the RH cost 1000, but its a full hour (half ceremony and half hospitality where the serve sweets and drinks before the actualy ceremony) and i still have to pay for the officiant too.

Seriously ?! wow thats alot of money. Our church is costing us 450 for the service and 100 for precanna Foccus I believe is free.

some testy thing that asks you and FH questions about kids, faith, money. Then they look at what you both answered and you go to one of the Pre-Cana couples house to discuss the results. They do this before Pre-Cana.

Nope and I thnk it has to be a the diocease of Rockville Centre thing my grandmother never heard of it I didnt either till I can on my LIW boards

I don't know if all the churches do it. But what I understood from this whole thing about foccus is that it is a personality compatibility test that they use and then review your scores to see where your weaknesses as a couple are. then heres the great part they Rip up the test and throw it away. Pointless in some ways huh?

I think you may be right about it only belonging to the diocese of Rockville center. its extremely new too. My aunt got married like 7 years ago and they never had to do foccus. They actually had to do a retreat over the weekend. Thank god they nixed that requirement and made it an option
