My parents are ridiculous! (Vent)
Tomorrow is our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. And I spoke to them about what I had in mind about a month ago. Obviously, I wanted everyone who was in the BP and also they're significant others and for the youger participants (3) we kind of already expected them to attend with the immediate family (mom, dad, sister etc..) Anyhow my own cousin who is a junior bridesmaid will be there and of course I expected my aunt and uncle and my other cousin. Well when my dad heard that they were all coming he had a fit because he said that if I didn't want FMIL (she's paying) to bring extra people then why am I. And I understand his reasoning but I never said I didn't want FMIL to bring extra people I just didn't want her to bring people that had absolutely nothing to do with the bridal party. The only reason I was expecting my aunt and uncle was because there daughter is in the BP and they are in the same household. To make the story a lil shorter my parents are making my life impossible and instead of just letting me know that they don't agree with it and letting it go they feel the need to go as far as to let me know that they will be at the church rehearsal but they won't join us for dinner. We bought both of them gifts and now I want to return them.
