My parents are trying to drive me bonkers.....

I know it was a running joke that no shower can be kept a secret in my family, but I didn't realize how bad my father is at it!!

Apparently after all the convos I had with my parents 2 weeks ago, some words of that got mixed up to my aunt and she called me today to be sure I didn't book a place myself for the shower. So after that, I call my parents to ask them why did they even mention anything to my aunt, and the first words out of my father is....

'Well she called to say she found a better place in Bay Ridge that she booked.....'

I was under the ruse that it was going to be in Queens, and now this happens. I told my father I wasn't supposed to know anything if plans are happening.

I swear, I have to laugh at it all. At first I was upset, but now I'm just laughing.

It's good that you can laugh about it My dad is exactly the same. My mom planned a mini shower for me last year and on the way, he asked we he was supposed to do at the shower. I actually didn't hear him because I was playing with my phone.
