My Photography price almost doubled today...

Holy SH #*!! I had my finalization of my contract as well as my engagement shots done today. Everything went great except for the fact that our package went up almost $3000

They completely sold us on this beautiful album and we also upgraded our parent's albums as well. I am really happy with what we are getting, but just in complete SHOCK of how much it is costing...

My parents used Gray Studios when they got married over 25 years ago. Gray Studios actually used one of their photos in their advertisements because they made such a beautiful couple! I am glad to hear that they are still around.

im not surprised to hear that with gray..... they charged for every little thing, they wouldnt bargain with you for anything

I am VERY happy with them. Although I have to say that I wish they would have presented the different type of albums they offered the first time I met them. We didn't realize some cost more than others when we booked...
And no- they do not budge on their prices... however, they didn't help us out with our payment plans (deposit amounts).
I can't wait to see our pics- Only 19 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have heard amazing things about Grey's pictures and their studio is a testement to that but I didn't like that everything was ala carte with them. One way to look at it - is that it would be much more expensive to upgrade after the wedding. I believe they charge more for post wedding prints, enlargements, etc and then with natural inflation. In the long wrong you will probably end up saving money. And you will have beautiful pictures/albums!
