My Pill is making me crazy!!!

Hi girls...I need some advice/help...i am on bc pills, taking Loestrin and i hate it...for about 3 or 4 days of every month i've felt like i'm going to burst into tears at any second. And i usually end up doing just that, for no good reason....it has to be my pill, and i have an appointment to talk to the doc about switching to something better that wont' make me so upset/hormonal. Any recommendations on a good pill or something with very very little side effects?? This one is supposed to be low dose....but if this how i'll feel on any of them, i think i'd rather go off!! (not the most ideal option).

Everyone is so different LoEstrin was the only pill that didn't make me crazy. sorry I know that is not very helpful.

Its ok...I know that everyone is different, i just wasn't sure if maybe there was one that a lot of women swear by...i've heard things about yasmin and ortho-tri...I hadn't heard too much about the one i'm on, but its not having a good effect on me at all :(

Sometimes i wish men could experience how it feels for your body to go through such hormonal changes!! (although i know FI has to put up with my moodiness anyway) They say the pill will be available for men to take sometime in the near future! I don't know about that!!?

i tried the ortho ti cyclen lo and i felt like jumping off a cliff. that was my experience with it.

now, on regular ortho, i was fine. weird!

right now i feel like jumping off a cliff! I hate this feeling, its not like me at all. Then it passes and i feel fine, but i don't like it when it happens of course....last night i couldn't stop crying and it was all because i was frustrated at work. NOT like me at all!

I'm happy to know i'm not the only one though..makes me feel a little better :)

I was on ortho tricyclen for more years than I can recall and never had ANY side effects ... switched to a generic right before the wedding (cause I needed a refill quick & couldnt send away for $$ name brand) and I HATED IT!!!!!

Ortho Tri Cyclen made me a lunatic. I remember crying hysterically because I did not want to blow dry my hair. That's when I knew I needed to get off it fast.

I have not found a BC pill that does not make me feel ill. I think that sadly for some of us BC Pills are just not an option.

I guess anything that alters the hormonal balance in your body is bound to have side effects... :( I do know one friend of mine who is on the patch and hasnt had a problem...maybe i'll ask about that too. I hope whatever comes next though is better than this!!
