My Poor Cat has Fleas

I am so annoyed!! She had them once before and it was the worst to get rid of them.

She is an outdoor/indoor cat so it's so hard to get rid of them!!

I am going to clean her tonight and put Advantage on her.

Then I am gonna clean the carpets.

Any other suggestions...I really want to avoid having to bring her into the vet

My mother's kitten had fleas when she came from the pet store! She was so young that nothing was really safe for us to use. We did eventually buy a moussee that worked great. It was in a black bottle.

One trick I have is give the cat a bath, I used to use just an ordinary cat shampoo I picked up at the store and make sure the towel is dry, if it gets soaked get another dry one. The fleas jump off her/his wet body and onto the dry towel. You will see the fleas on there if its not a dark towel. Hurry and shake the towel outside or something, so that they are not in your house.
