We had to take her to the vet yesturday because she was dragging her butt and then we noticed blood. she had a ruptured anal gland she is one 2 meds. i gave them last night as directed and she was up all night throwing up. like 11 times.... I feel horrible. I stayed home with her and i am waiting to speak to the vet. Shes so sad and not her self. poor pockets!

Thats so sad! I had take my new puppy Linus to the vet yesterday too! He had to have an x-ray and they found lesions on his lungs! He has pneumonia and is on two antibiotics. We might have to hospitalize him today cause he's refusing to eat. so sad! He's only 11weeks old.

my doggie was dragging his butt too and licking it, after researching that it might be because of her anal glands we took him to the vet yesterday, he said it wasn't that bad. I'm sooo sorry for ur doggie, I hope she get better

Lucky!! Poor Pockets ruptured her gland! and its infected! She kept down her first round of meds with some Maalox so we will see later when she takes the steroids! She seems ok! Sleepy- though. I was took since I was up all night with her. We took a nice nap today since i didn't go to work
