As I was celebrating my bachelorette party in AC this weekend, FH was in the hospital...SIGHHHH. He was burned while fighting a fire on Saturday in Brooklyn. He has 3rd degree burns on his forehead, all along the side of his face, his ears, and his wrist and arm. He keeps saying it could have been worse and that thankfully they decided to bail when they did because although they made it all the way down the hallway,if they actually went into the apt. they would have been trapped and probably wouldn't have made it out. Scary thought! I'm so happy he's ok and hope he heals fast!!!! He's sad because he won't be able to go back to work until mid-April.
So nice of him too.. he text my MOH while we were away and told her to make sure I still have a good time and to not worry about him..When things like this happen they definitely make you think....

So scary. I think about the firefighters and their families a lot, espcially now int he winter when so many house fires are on the news. I'm truly really thankful there are people like your FH and the FH's of other girls on here who are willing to do that job.
Prayers for a speedy recovery! Least he gets some downtime!

I hope he heals very quickly. When Tim had to go to the hospital a few times, he would tell me not to worry. But how can you not? Our FH's are brave men!
