my sister lives in Ireland. She is a BM in my wedding next week. She goes to pick up her BM dress today, it is all stained and the guy did a horrible job on it. She calls me all upset. the guy lost it and threated her FH with a hammer b/c she refused to pay him the bal owed for the alterations. It was so bad that they had to call the cops. Can you believe this crap!!! So now I have to scramble around to get some one who can alter & clean her dress in 2 days. She wont be here until Monday......

Are you near Garden City at all? There is a dry cleaner on Nassau Blvd that does dry cleaning in a day. And they also do alterations.
I would call around to places & ask them before she gets here. So they know the situation. I'm assuming she's getting in after 1:00pm. Make sure you tell them that. Some people do go out of their way to help out!! Good Luck!!!

omg that's horrible!!! i can't believe the guy would threaten her FH like that - that's insanity. I don't know any cleaners offhand on LI that are exceptionally good, I'm sorry. I hope someone can clean it!
