my programs and favors
I wanted to post these photos the night before my wedding, but I forgot to bring my camera cord to the hotel, so I'm doing so NOW!!
(I'm so proud of them)
The outer layer was made with ivory linen paper, and the inner layer (the program of the mass) was made with clear vellum paper. I tied the 2 together with black linen ribbon... The painting is one of my favorite Jack Vettrianos...
my FBIL said the inside looked embossed... i was so pleased with that...

My favors:
MY FH's mother died of Cancer in 2003 so we made a donation to the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure instead of favors... in her memory. So I made cards at each place setting announcing so. I included a photo of FSIL, FMIL, and FH at a fund raiser on top of a cream colored cardstock, and covered with vellum paper announcing the donation. I tied them together with pink ribbon. We also had pink ribbons at each place setting that was sent to us from the organization... ALMOST EVERYONE at our wedding was wearing one!!!
it took me 3 days to complete this one (it was TEDIOUS!) but everyone was touched and we were honored to honor HER on our wedding day.
