I started taking provera yesterday and I was interested in finding out how long you took the pill before af showed up.
I feel like I am waiting for a bus that will never come..its so stressful. I think she gave me 7 pills..one a day..but when it comes, I dont take it anymore right!?

My doctor usually gives me 5 pills, one a day. After you stop taking them, I usually get AF in 2-3 days. Everyone is different.

I took a 10-day Rx. AF showed up two days after my last pill (day 12). Yes, if AF comes before you're finished with the RX, you stop taking them.

When I was prescribed with it when I had missed AF for almost a year, I took 1 pill and it came, she had given me 10 I never had to take it again. Everyone is indeed different.

So once you took the provera, did af stay regular because I am nervous that it will bring it on this one month and then stop again??

Everyone will react differntly. I did not go back to a regular cycle after the first time. People I know who have taken it have right away. It's a matter of waiting to see what happens.

I never had to take it again. I was in college when I took this about 21 yrs old.
