my puppy has a scab like bump on his head

I don't know what happened but I noticed a little bump on my puggy's head , it feels like a scab of some sort. He bumps in to things from time to time but I don't recall him getting hurt or anything, He doesn't seam to mind it though, he is not scratching at it but IM curious as to what it might be and I don't know if I should call the vet or not.

You have a Pug? Does it almost look like a dandruff type of scab? He could have a common skin condition found in young Pugs.

I think its something like Demodetic mange, but I can't recall....it's been a while since my pug was a puppy.
He only had it for 3 months, went for one dip & then got special internal meds & he recovered very quickly.

It might have been a tick... we went to the vet and I noticed that he had a tick on his head!!! My mom pulled it off, and the doctor said it would be fine... a scab like bump appeared a few days later... it has been a few weeks (slow to come off!) But it is getting better.

You might want to go to the vet just to make sure though....

It could be nothing,,,and it could be serious...there's no way to really tell, unless you go to your vet. If it were me, I'd go because I worry about everything.

I would say it was a tick too! My dog had one, we took it off and brought him to a vet. They gave us ointment and he got a scab and bump!
It will go away! But you should get him something for ticks! My dog got the lyme's shot too!
