I love my puppy so much but shes going to obedience school...shes bad. She climbed up on top of the glass dining room table, how she got up there I have no idea. Then yesterday, I locked her in the bathroom (I leave her in there when I go out) and when I come home the shower curtain and pole (yes the one that the curtain hangs from, that's attached to the wall,and has been for 20 years) is on the ground! She pulled it down with her teeth. She thinks she runs things!
omg!! lol i am sorry to laugh but i can just picture this dog fighting with the curtain! lol i hope everything works out!

your puppy is teething (yes just like a baby). Try soaking your old socks with water then put in a ziplock into the freezer. Once its already frozen give it your puppy and let him suck it.
If you caught him chewing something, make sure you say NO and stop him but never hit him. When he stop and listen, praise him (good boy) and give him puppy cookies. Lots of work right now but its worthed.

My dog thinks he's the boss too. We usually lock him up when we go out. One day we locked him in the room and when we came back he destroyed a bunch of shoe boxes. I guess he was upset. But ur dog is so cute

You pup is sooooo adorable!!! I have 2 dogs and some great teething advice for you. Walk, Walk, Walk your puppy as much as possible to tire him/her out. The other...there are these Moose Sticks they can be found at most pet stores...or....they have those bones that are hollowed out..you can put like cheez whiz or peanut butter in it...keeps them busy for hours...
BTW...while I was writing this...I realized my dopey puppy Maggie was chewing on one of my shoes...maybe I should take my own advice.

I have 2 dogs and when their puppies it is the worst, but its the most important time because they need to learn now, or you end up with one terror of a dog haha.. I have 1 dog that HATES to be brushed, he will bite my hands off. But we got him at 7months because a relative couldnt keep him anymore.. and what ever it was that happened, thats how he has been ever since.
you need to get a crate. She is a puppy, there are lots of things to investigate and learn about. If you crate train her, that will def help the behaviors. I wouldnt put her in the bathroom.
I never gave my dogs stuffed animals or shoes to play with, because then its hard for them to determine what is theirs and yours.

We can never stay mad at our girls and believe me...they are bad.
We have 2 dogs, but our Australian Shepherd - she took FH's wallet out into the yard, took all his credit cards and threw them all over the place..Then she looks at you like 'what did I do?' lol!

My sister and her BF have a puppy. Well he is 5 months now. He was the same way. Then they took him to traning classes. They said to keep him in a kennel during the day while no one is home, this way he don't pee all over and ruin everything. Cause her dog couldn't hold his bladder yet. NAd being in the kennel they won't pee where they sleep or lay. SO it's the best thing. Get a big one so when she gets older you can put her in there too instead of buying a few. They have dividers for them so they can't run around the whole kennel. And pet smart has training classes. They really help!

they have teething toys for dogs that you can put in the freezer. Any pet store has them. Don't give her socks cause then she will think she can chew all your socks
