my rant about the movies...

OK its a SHORT one


Not only do we have to sit through what seems like 2 hours of just PREVIEWS, but NOW we have to watch commericals for TLC and etc...

Just start the damn movie!!

I KNOW - we hate that sooooooooooo much!!!!!

i noticed this too.. i used to like when they did the movie trivia before the previews.

lol. i only stay awake for the previews.. by the time they are over i'm done with my snacks and then i fall asleep..


fh hates taking me to the movies.. he says its a complete waste of money..cuz i dont just doze.. i curl up in the seat and drool

Bourne Ultimatum... Matt Damon is SOOOOO HOT!!

We go to drive-ins' now and it's wonderful!!! They are all quite a drive from home - but it's so nice to sit outside & watch a movie...and with the drive-ins, you get TWO movies for 7 bucks per person...and the food is soooo good. Popcorn with REAL butter - who knew that still existed?!?!

Last double feature we saw was Harry Potter & Die Harder...

We go to drive-ins' now and it's wonderful!!! They are all quite a drive from home - but it's so nice to sit outside & watch a movie...and with the drive-ins, you get TWO movies for 7 bucks per person...and the food is soooo good. Popcorn with REAL butter - who knew that still existed?!?!

I love drive - ins. i used to go all the time when i was little. i miss it.

oohh where r the drive ins at? the one in westbury closed down so many years ago.. and i miss it horribly..

i never got the chance to make out in a car at the drive in movie... please tell me it's not too late...

We go to about 4 faithfully. There's two in NY, one in Middletown, if you know the Woodbury Commons outlets - it's about 30 minutes past there. They have 2 screens. Fair Oaks Drive In.

We also used to go to one in Warwick, NY, but the bathroom is like peeing in a hole, totally not good for me and my TINY bladder, but they have 3 screens and will show R movies.. http://webusers.warwick.net/~u1006131/driveinmovie/

The other 3 are in PA...from our house - the farthest one away is an hour, 30...

This one is our FAVORITE - they are wonderful & once a year, on Labor Day Weekend - they do movies from dusk till dawn... I can't say how wonderful they are - they just ARE. They do pony rides for the kids, have a swingset, if the movie is theme oriented, they'll dress up that way. For the Shrek 3 movie, they had a DONKEY that the kids could ride...it was the cutest thing EVER... www.beckysdi.com.

Another in PA - family movies ONLY...every once in a while - they'll show a PG-13 movie...but VERY family oriented - one screen... http://www.shankweilers.com/
