My Registry= $$$$

I was updating and adding things to my registry. We I took a minute to add it up. Here is my total'

183 items
$7259.- value of items

Am I crazy for having that much on my registry. I have 103 women invited to my shower

nope, don't think you are crazy.

Some people might get you a gift for the wedding itself too, especially if they can't make the wedding.

No thats about right. I don't know about the cost, I never added mine up, but the # of items sounds fine.

I have items under $50 and then I have everything from cuttlery to a dyson vaccum.

I tried to mix it up and this is our only registry

I think it's fine....if people don't want to buy things, they won't. You can always buy them later!

i dont think its bad at all.
You are inviting ALOT of women to your shower, you need to have alot of stuff cause then people start complaining you dont have enough stuff for them to choose from.

I hope you get all the gifts you want!!!

No seriously though. I think after I did mine FH totalled it to like $5000. and we invited only 47 ppl.

You have a lot of ppl so you do need a lot on your registry.

I don't think it is so much the total of what your registry items add up to as long as you a variety of price ranges!

In fact I was thinking of doing the same thing and adding up mine.. plus I got things that I didn't want/need like a whole new china set from FMIL! (I didn't want new china since I had two sets from my mother and grandmother).

Also FMIL spoiled me rotten by also buying me a whole four piece luggage set that dwarfs FH's new set.. he was so mad about that!

I don't think you are crazy at all 103 guests is a decent amount so you are going to need a big selection. I mean there are times I'm invited to showers and I am like 'wow there are no items on here' besides a registry doesnt' mean they hae to buy everything it just gives them a guideline. If people don't want to get a certain item they just won't get it, it's not a big deal. sounds like you are going to have an amazing shower!

I think it's a great idea to have a lot of things b/c even after the wedding if someone wants to buy you a gift, at least you will get something you want.
Wow you know a lot of ppl. 103 people, good for you, I hope you get every gift off the registry.
