So invites went out for my shower- I heard through the grapevine. Anyways, FH has this b*tchy Aunt who lives in GUAM of Suffolk- I am talking Ridge. I have always been a Nassau chick so I have always thought of Fortunoff's when it came to registries. Anyways, the lady calls FH and b*tches that I picked pricey things on the registry and asked why I only picked one place to register at.
Give me a break.
She could always go online and buy it or even see if BBB has it and buy it there. Why pick up the phone and b*tch???????

okay, no offense, but that is totally rude... do you know how many showers I had to trek all the way to one store that was nowhere near me!!! I usually just get it online and I never complained to anyone! Its your choice cause you are getting married. She doesnt have to get you anything! She can just give you a card with money in it and call it a day.

B/c people love to complain. I went from living in a city (Baltimore) where Crate and Barrel, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Macys, BBB, everything were in walking distance to living in Hampton Bays where nothing is. I still drive up the island or order a gift card. Tell her to deal with it. You can't please everyone!

FH thinks she's jealous. I think that sounds a little ridiculous BUT her daughter in law's shower was the worst we ever went to. Everyone complained that it was potluck- all the women invited had to bring a gift AND cook. It was ridiculous and not to mention tacky considering they had this nasty stripper there with penis decorations all over the place. So FH thinks his Aunt is being this way because everyone complained how tacky her daughter in law's shower was and that she is just finding something to complain about.

Don't worry about her, some people are not happy if they don't have something to complain about and some people are just nasty to begin with! She can order online like everybody else, or she can just get her own gift if its such a bother to her. Anyway, ignore her!

Hahaha... Sounds JUST like my oldest sister... she called me up last week complaining that she's no money bags....meanwhile...I have several items under $10 on there....I think some people just like to complain...simple as that.
