My registry is still very full

I know I sound selfish and spoiled but my shower is this Saturday and only a few things were purchased off of my registry so far. I really wanted my pots and pans and noone bought them.. Only a few small things were purchased and some china

we didnt get our pots and pans or china...those things were expensive so we didnt expectt to...people sometimes buy things off the registry, sometimes not and also they wait til the last minute. Please don't be upest, your shower will be wonderful even if you dont get what you wanted

I am just bummed about it already bc my mom told me that my aunt and cousin (who is a BM) both dropped out and now cant come.. and my grandma can not make it anymore...and 3 of my friends can't come.. i really wanted those people there. I know I will still have fun but i am starting to get bummed about it. I need to get excited.

I know I shouldn't have put china on there. I didnt even really want the china.. but eveyone told me oneday I would

honestly, people wait to the last minute. Every shower I have been to I bought there gift the week of ! I bet you will start to see things fly off it this week...prob even more so as the end of the week comes...

Yeah, people wait till the last minute. For my shower, people went the night before..so frustrating!!! Also, people may just be getting you gift cards so you can get what you want. I got a ton of gift cards and was glad b/c I could get my most important things. Keep us updated

You will start seeing things coming off your registry starting Thursday even on up to the day off people will be buying. I see it this way when I go a shower I never buy a week in advance I always wait to the day before.

Just be patient. For my shower, a TON of things came off the registry the day before.

No worries. You will likely get a couple of gift cards to put towards things that no one bought! Also, you might get some things as wedding gifts.

we didnt get our pots and pans either...i returned some of the nonsense stuff and am going to buy them!

Don't stress, because you're going to see that most things will come off of your registry at the end of the week. It will all work out!!!

Ugh, I know how you feel! My shower is in 3 weekends and barely anything has been purchased, and nothing this past weekend either. I completely understand, and you don't sound selfish at all...it's especially frustrating when you know certain people aren't attending, i.e., won't get gifts, and you still see nothing being bought.
