My review of Atlantis Limos

I just wanted to post my review about them from my 5/21 wedding. They were awful!
For my bachelorette party, the driver got lost and was over 50 minutes late picking us up outside a club in the city. For my husband's bachelor party, they were half an hour late picking them up in AC. We had booked an 2005 Escalade for our wedding day. About an hour before pickup, they called and said the Escalade broke down and they were sending a Hummer. In all fairness, they did send us 2 Hummers for the wedding day. However, the one driver admitted to us that he was up from Georgia and given our wedding as a job 4 WEEKS PRIOR because they had overbooked with proms. So, in essence, we were lied to as the Escalde had not broken down, but was being used for another party. We were told as part of our package we had a balloon release. No balloons! My husband told the driver before church he needed to get the balloons because it was in our contract. They did come through. We had rented a limo to drive out of state relatives from the hotel to church and back. They charged us almost $400 and the day after my Mom booked it she say a coupon for $99- she brought it up to the owner, but he would not change the price. Then as we are on the receiving line, the limo driver approached my Dad and said the limo going back to my hotel was leaving and my grandparents and cousins needed to leave. My father told the guy he had to wait as he wasn't pulling anyone out of the receiving line early and that they had to wait for pictures outside. The driver refused and told my Dad if he wanted the limo to wait until the receiving line was over it was an addition $120 in cash. My Dad paid it as he didn't want any problems. We had rented a town car to drive my husband's elderly grandparents from their house to church, to the reception and home. The town car was supposed to arrive at midnight. Well, at 1:30am we were still waiting and my mother in law ended up having to drive them home. We spoke to the driver on his cell phone and he told us for an hour and half he was almost there when in all reality he admitted he was just leaving Jersey. We are still fighting with them to get back the money that was paid for the return trip home. As part of our 'package' we were to receive a 'complimentary' ride to the airport the following morning. The town car arrived and the driver was very nice. My husband decided to tip him $20. As we are walking into the airport the driver stops us and says, I'm sorry but the fare is $40. My husband said we were told it was complimentary and the driver said, I apologize then, but I was told by Rick that it was $40. I'll talk it over with him, don't worry about it.

So, in all I was completely disguisted with Atlantis Limos and would not recommend them to anyone unless you want a headache.

I think 90% of the limo companies are full of it. They feed you a lot of junk and we are supposed to believe it. I wasn't too thrilled with my limo company either but that was just rediculous!

OMG I am so very sorry! Everything sounds horrible. I hate hearing stories of vendors going up to people and asking for money - above and beyond the contract and what's been paid - that is just insane...they completely take advantage of the fact that you're smack in the middle of YOUR wedding!

I'm sorry sweetie! I am sure this is one minor thing compared to the lifetime of happiness that lies ahead and your surely awesome wedding!

It always seems to be limo companies that are a problem. I'm sorry you went through this

Oh its ok....I am kind of over it now. Although we have spend the summer putting in phone calls to nothing back. My MIL is fighting for half of what she paid for the town car for the grandparents since they only did half a job and my father would like his $120 back, but he has given up now.

Fortunately, they were the ONLY thing wrong that day- the rest of my vendors were AMAZING :)
