My RSVP date is 3/15 and Im

missing like 65 cards!!!!!
what are these people thinking?

ETA: Plus we're getting scre|wed bc 4/19 evening starts passover --- and a lot of people have kids who have spring break that week and theyre going away

The thing is we didnt send STD to everyone - we had a shorter list so i guess thats what happens

I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well i sent out like 140 -
and i hate the verbals!!!!!!

luckily i still have about 3 weeks till i have to give my RH the final count 4/9 - so its not toooooo bad but stilll!!!!!

Hopefully by next wed I'll get the majority of it

We got A LOT just after the date and then MORE after we called people a week later. People forget then remember at the last minute tht the date passed. Thats why they should just send them as soon as they know they are coming or not. i feel your pain

Can you call anyone now and ask them to send them in? Maybe leave some messages while people are at work? Do any of the people who still have to hand in the cards know each other? You could ask them to spread the word

I would make a few calls this week, if you can.

Honestly .. i usually .. but FH and I were invited to a wedding in CA in April, and I haven't sent the card back yet because we weren't sure if we were going. FH decided he wasn't - I was never going - so now I can send it. But if it's local, yeah, I send it back immediately.

Are any of these people you are waiting on OOTers, Gabbie?

Yeah - There's lots of people from Connecticut (do you consider tha out of town?)
and then theres others from chicago and PA & poland - which im counting them as no's because I know they're not coming but STILLLLL you know?
Im hoping that today, tomorrow, sat and monday Ill get a lot! If not - here come the phone calls....

Your RSVP date is a Saturday, so you may also get more all next week...some people think they have to mail the card out by that date, not have it arrive by that date (if they even remember to send it back at all)

we rsvp date was march 8, and i am still getting them in the mail, i think people wait till the last minute. but we did also get a ton like the day before our rsvp date too.

we also had some retarts that we didnt get rsvp's from and when i called to see if they were attending or not they where like i didnt think i needed to send it back if i wasnt going and i am like you retart on the rsvp it say will attend or unable to attend can you not read

its the worst part i guess you'll just have to wait
