you should call or email them to find out if they are coming or not.
they don't know how stressfull it is, when you have to give your RH the last count.

i know... its so easy to check off yes or no and stick it in your mail box... i don't get it. i'm gonna make fh call since its almost all his family

That happened to me! I got a lot about a week late. The funniest was someone in the BP responded 2 weeks late with a NO! My FH's cousin no less!

Some people are just ignorant to that... I had to tell people that they should send them... They would say 'But you know I'm coming'

Ugh yeah! My RSVP date is today and I still have a whole slew of people who haven't responded yet! 130 invited and only 80 'yes' so far.
It's so infuriating, I'm just gonna call them up late next week 'cus I have to do my placecards!
Also, I'm gonna make a mental note of people who didn't make the deadline and next time they send me something that needs an RSVP I'm gonna send it at the last minute too. :P
Michelle- wait one week. It is a holiday weekend and maybe some people just mailed it out today. After a week then start making calls. Not everyone can be like me and mail it out the very next day with a definite yes!!!!

I was in exactly the same place last Friday. On Sunday I sent out an email to everyone on my list that hadn't sent in the RSVP. As of today, of the people I contacted only one couple is completely unaccounted for. FH's side of the guest list is a completely different story, but that would be because he didn't contact everyone.
My advice, holiday weekend or not - send out emails to everyone that you have an address for, and then starting on Thursday follow up with phone calls. Don't wait. If you're persistent, you can get almost all the missing RSVPs back in a week, the same way I did.

Why do people do this? Would they want this done to them? No! Then why don't they just send it back? It is mind boggling to me.

Only one person from my BP RSVPed and we were missing around 40. I started calling everyone before the RSVP date because the cards slowed down a lot and almost all of the people who didnt RSVP told me they were coming. I guess they wanted to tell me personally over the phone!

As I have mentioned before to other brides, I'm still waiting for 20 of my RSVPs. And we just celebrated 5 months of being married! Good luck!!! Start calling!
