My RSVP date was yesterday....

...........and I'm still waiting for 66 replies!!!!! (includes couple and families). I only have 95 yes replies and I guaranteed 140

Just an update: 0 RSVP' s received today!!!

I'm in the same boat. My RSVP date was yesterday, I currently am still waiting on 60-70 RSVPs. I'm 40-something away from my guarantee.

I figured I give those people who forgot a week to get them in, next week, I'll start the phone calls.

My RSVP date was Monday, I don't have the exact numbers but we're waiting on a few (including some of our BP!!). I'm going to give it another week and then start harassing them, I'm afraid we're not going to make our minimum either.

People wait so damn long for these replies. It is ridiculous!! I'm sure you will get your numbers, or close to it. If you have 66 left, is that over 100 people you are waiting to hear from? It should work out. If not, you can always upgrade and get free stuff for the reception.

Why is it so impossible for people to drop the darn thing in the mail?!?!?!?!?!

Definitely. Are you having a band? That should count for a few people right there.

Thats completely ridiculous....I don't get it...all anyone has to do is check yes or no and mail it...the stamp's already there, so they can't say, oh we couldn't make it to the post office....how annoying !!!

I guess it's just not the 1st thing on people's minds. I'm giving it till the weekend & then I'll have to start making calls since I have so much free time on my hands, lol.

Just an update, my RSVP was Tuesday and the RSVPs are coming in by the handfuls, people must have realized they missed the date and sent them out this week!

I hate to say it, but its sad when people assume you know they are coming, I will be a major witch when my invites goes out and no one is responded by the rsvp date.

Me too! My RSVP date is a Sunday and if people haven't replied.... they will be getting a call that day! You can't send it in... then you can feel silly when you are a grown up and have to get a reminder call to do something so easy!

That being said, I have a whole different perspective on this as a person planning a wedding than I did before!
