My sad flower girl dress story/bridal marketplace

To make a long story short......
I ordered a dress from them by phone. I was told I would receive an email confirmation and never did. I called numerous times and never got a call back. I finally emailed them, and got the response the dress would be in the beginning of July.

I called and emailed again the beginning of August. Got an email saying it would be in any day. Called/emailed again a week ago- no reply. Called yesterday, message there says bridal marketplace was 'aquired' by a new company and is no longer accepting orders, but is filling all orders already placed. It said not to leave a message, but gave another email address.

I emailed them again, and was told there is no record of my order, so I should email them my credit card number so they can refund my money(yeah, right). We called American Express and they will dispute it.

In the meantime, since my wedding is almost a month away, I went to Jessica McClintock in Roosevelt Field mall and ordered a dress that I do not like as much, but will be delivered directly to my fg's house in Florida by wed.

Everything happens for a reason! Maybe the other one would have been too small. (hey, you never know!)

I'm sorry that happened. That's what makes me a bit weary of ordering over the internet, even though I do it all the time. I hope everything works out!
