My Sample Low Centerpiece, what do you girls think?

My Sample Low Centerpiece, what do you girls think?

We wanted to have a mixture of high and low centerpieces. I already posted my highs, which I love, but here are my lows.

OK so here is my sample low centerpiece the way it looked when we went in. Its missing the lilys. (By the way thats the green sea glass.)

I didn't love it, my mom hated it. One thing she hated about it was it didn't look full. The other was that the stems showed.

To solve the fullness problem we tried round, but we have oval tables.

To hide the stems we talked about...
- putting a ribbon around it also to bring in my color, since the beach glass is the wrong color and will be white.
- setting it on the bowl with the white beach glass below it, the way the high centerpieces are placed, but this will cost a littlle more $ and you won't be able to see over them
- putting greens inside the bowl around the stems
- or leaving it as it is, but the beach glass will be white, since the green glass doesn't go with my colors (my mom hates this idea.)

Here it is with the ribbon.

So three questions....

1) Which do you like round or square?
2) How should we fix the stem problem? (I made a poll for this part).
3) Should we forget the low ones and do all high if my dad will spring for them? It was less of a decision about money and more about aesthetics. But since the decision was made money has become more of an issue.

I like the round out of all of them. Why not have that and do candles going out from it?

I like the first one the best overall. I prefer the square to the round, and I think the ribbon make its seem a little haphazard. Maybe its just the angle of the pic, but the last one, with the ribbon, the top seems fuller. Were more flowers added to that one? If you could use that fullness, and the square, I think it will be ok and no one will notice the stems.

I love the round one and maybe see what it looks like with the green leaf in it to hide the stems....it might change the look of it

1) Which do you like round or square? I really like the round
2) How should we fix the stem problem? I don't think they're a problem so I say no.
3) Should we forget the low ones and do all high if my dad will spring for them? Is there any way of adding more to the low ones...the colors are beautiful and I love low ones but I think they need to be fuller.

I like the round one with leaves around the vase so they can hide the stems.

I like the round better than the square. I would add the greens to hide the stems it will give it a richer look. If you are concerned that the tables are oval and the CP is round you could put votives on either side or have the florist put a floting rose on either side. They take an open rose the flower part only and put it in a small round vase (like a fish bowl) and fill it half way with water.
Personally, I think the round arrangement it fine on an oval table.

I also like the round! And like someone else said in a low lite RH no one is going to notice the stems. I would just add the greens and call it a day!

I wasnt sure between the first and the round but the one i would pick for myself is the round. Any of them is good except for the ribbon it looks too much with the ribbon. Its pretty flowers.

It's nice, very simple. I like the round base.

I vote for round and put greens inside the vase to hide the stems.

I like the round
what if they wrapped a leave on the inside of the vase so you wouldn't see stems...just a thought....and in my opinion no ribbon

I like the round one better...and I don't happen to hate the stems but what if they put a banana leaf on the inside to hide them? I've seen that and it looks very nice.

Well.. i think it should look fuller too, JMO, Maybe have them take out some of that greenery and add more flowers? I like the round vase better, the last pic ... Also we are having half high and half low and for the low ones the florist is wrapping bamboo around it ... another option is to wrap grass around the inside of the bowl.

I thnk, go with the round. even though the tables are oval. the table are so full with stuff anyway.
