Too bad I only found out when I got there. For some reason I didn't check my voicemail and there was a messgae from 5:10 am that school was delayed and another message at 8:45 (after I had already gotten to work) that they had changed it to closed! I don't remember the phone ringing at all this morning. But I'm still glad to have the day off!

Wow, lucky! I didn't even think the roads in Suffolk were bad at all.

I'm in NJ and the roads by me were okay, but near my job they were terrible. It took me an hour to get there when it usually only takes about 35 minutes. I think my district is the only one around that closed, but a lot of schools had delays today.

Our district was also closed today, Sachem. I think the roads must have been really icy when they checked them out (in the middle of the night). They should have not closed though, maybe a delayed opening.
