My Sept. 2nd wedding at Flowerfield

The day was absolutely perfect. The weather was beautiful and everything was like clockwork at FLowerfield. It was just so beautiful.I highly recommend anyone to have their wedding there. The whole day was like a fairy tale and all our guests had a great time.

Vendors

Rehearsal dinner- Port Jeff Country Club

Hair Stylist- Tracey from Intrigue in Mt. Sinai. Came to my hotel and did an awesome job. My hair was like a work of art. $85

Make up- Billie from the Mac counter at the Smithhaven mall. She was great and so sweet. $75

Rabbi- Rabbi Lowenheim. It was a great service. He is such a nice man and he got a lot of complements.

Band-Sweetwater. Amazing. They are a 10 piece band and they sounded exactly like each artist they sang. Everyone was dancing it was great.

Florist- Sugar Magnolias. Heidi the owner was wonderful, I didn't know exactly what the flowers were going to look like but they were absolutely beautiful. She put so much work into it and it showed.

Photographer- North Island photography- Michael who owns the company and does all the photography was so nonintrussive, I didn't even know he was there. He had the pictures ready a few days after my wedding. The pictures are outrageous. He took such wonderful shots. He had such great ideas for shots. I love every picture.

Videography-Apple entertainment. Very nonintrussive and accommodating. I will ave to wait and see how the video comes out.

Limos- Class one. Great service and great prices. We had 2 limos for the groomsmen and the bridal party which was pick up and drop off and then we had a coach limo and 10 passenger limo for the guests which picked up and dropped off as well. We also got a limo to the airport.

Honeymoon-Bora Bora, we stayed at the Hotel Bora Bora

I too had my wedding at Flowerfields (August 4th), used Sugar Magnolias and stayed at Hotel Bora Bora. Doesn''t it seem like a dream when you look back at your pictures from the hotel. What a beautiful place. Did you see the manarays that came around at night?

How funny.
Yeah, everything seems like a dream. We had a great time. I miss waking up and feeding the fish everyday. We did see the manta ray over by the dock. We also went on the shark feeding tour and swam with the sting rays. That was really cool.
Did you have the best time at your wedding.? I just can't get over how awesome Flowerfield was.

First, congratulations to both of you! We decided to book Flowerfield also for March 2003. We have an appointment next week with Florinda. I was just wondering, is there a lot of food at the cocktail hour if we don't upgrade? The place is so beautiful. I can't wait!

There is so much food, don't even worry about doing the upgrades. They already give you three stations, plus all of the passed appetizers. The guests will be full before dinner and that's also a lot of food. Save your money and use it towards something else with one of the other vendors. You will love Flowerfields and so will all of your guests!! Florinda is great!!

There was more than enough food. I was going to get the Sushi bar but got passed sushi instead which was great. People said they were so full by the end of the night.

The band we used was great too. It is a 10 peice band and they had a great price. They did the ceremony with a trio, the cocktail hour was a piano player and sax. Their number is(631)242-4068. Tommy is the band leader.
