I was looking for a substantial heel, but also wanted them to be comfortable and affordable which was not an easy task.
I ruminated about spending hundreds of dollars, but it in the long run, it just seemed easier to spend the money rather than shop for days. I guess I'm lazy.
Here they are. Bought them at Stuart Weitzman on Madison. Perhaps a little boring, but they're classic and kinda sexy, I think.
Wow, these are nice. Too high for me though, whew!!!! I wouldn't last a try on .

Adorable! They look similar to the ones I just bought. I think the only difference is mine is a platform heel.
I just hope my accident prone self can sit that day out and luck will be on my side. I also bought a pair of ballet flats, only because I have the habit of falling down while standing still.

That's too funny. My mom is also treating me (just found out yesterday she's sending me a check)!
I went to Saks in Manhattan and they don't carry bridal shoes anymore. I also got the same response at Bloomies. I wonder why....??
