my shoes - manolos - are 1/2 inch to high for my dress.. .and aren't even high heels maybe 3inches..... can the heels be cut??

i dont see why not, but they might only be able to cut a little. any GOOD shoe maker should be able to do it

they couldnt cut mine for my e-party.. i hope you find someone who can and if you do let me know heheh

When I was looking for shoes I was told all shoes can easily be taken down 'one lift'- I think that is about a quarter inch- I think you need to bring them to the shoemaker and see what they say.

i'd recommend a shoemaker in the city. he's on 57th street between 3rd and lex, on the north side of the street. i've had success with him. i don't know any places on long island, sorry!
