My Shoes / BM shoes - what's too much $$??

I REALLY LIKE THESE!!! The blue for me and the orange for BP. BUT theyre $92.95!! Is that too much to ask the BP to spend on shoes?

Im having them wear black tea length dresses, and in their own style so they CAN rewear them or just wear something they own...

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Its your wedding, so they should do what you want- you would do it for them!

But a question- are brides supposed to choose BMs shoes? I never heard of anyone doing this before. Is it okay if I just tell my girls to do whatever they want for shoes or are they going to be expecting me to tell them what to get?

btw- just saw the pics (they were not showing up before) and those shoes are very cute!

Some brides do chooose everything for their girls down to their shoes and hair. I think its a little much, especially when you figure how much they pay for their dresses and things like the bridal shower. If it's really what you want and their dresses were chosen by them in their own price range, then ask them to buy the shoes.

I chose a shoe color (gold) and then let the girls choose their own heels. I only chose the color because they are all wearing diff colored dresses and I wanted them to have something uniform about their outfits.

I like the shoes alot but personally I find them a bit pricey for patent leather (is that what they are?) with a heel high enough that they may not wear it again. Maybe ask them what they think and go from there?

Honestly, I would not want to spend $92 on those shoes if I was your BM. I don't know what types of shoes your BMs like. I let my bp wear whatever kind of shoes they wanted as long as they were silver. That being said, if you think your bp would like them, then do it. Otherwise, why not ask them how they feel about it? If they all like them, then go for it!

i think it is too much to ask for your bridesmaids to pay...can you find a cheaper alternative????

I think it depends. If they paid alot for their dress then yes it's too expensive. Maybe you should search for it online. You might find it cheaper.

Sorry, but forcing them to pay $92 for shoes is way too much IMHO... and I'm not cheap.

Some of my girls really couldn't afford that!

$92 is way too much to spend on shoes. Besides the fact that I would probably kill myself in those heels. I would not be able to stand in them for more than 30 minutes.

I know a few of my girls couldn't afford $92 for shoes, and to be honest I could afford them-but wouldn't pay that much for shoes. I wouldn't feel right asking them to spend that much on the shoes.

Most of em are wearing lil black dresses they already own. I cant seem to find the right color any cheaper.

Any suggestions ladies?
