My Shower!! (Added more Pictures!)

My Shower was yesterday! My Mom and MOH (babeyblu16) and BM went all out! It was amazing! Better than I ever could have imagined! It was at my Mom's house (it rained so it was indoors, but out in the backyard they have been working for weeks to get the garden ready and had rented chairs and tables). They had 2 servers that cleaned up and served the food. The food was amazing - poached salmon, chicken stuffed with a cranberry stuffing, pastas, rice, salad. . . The flowers were better than I ever could have imagined!! A very good family friend got all of them - they were in square picket fences with bright pink roses, blue hydrangeas, peonies, etc - I will post a pic once someone sends me some. And the cake was shaped like a teapot with a real teapot on top - it was so cool! My BM made me a money umbrella that was great - I had never seen that before. One of my BM is a graphic designer and made my invitations - they are beautiful - it was a picture of two girls (one wearing my BM dress) drinking wine in a sunflower field (my wedding flowers are sunflowers)! She also hand painted a larger version and framed it for me!! Then another BM made the coolest bridal bingo cards with sunflowers and my e-ring in the center! Another BM got great gifts to hand out as prizes and the favors were little shower gels from Bath and Body works that said 'Christine's Shower June 7. . . use this for your next shower!' They also asked my FH questions and then asked me the same ones and gave out prizes for when I got them right. My Jr BM's mom surprised me and flew up from FL!! And, my FH's parents and my FSIL and her husband and baby came up from southern PA on Thurs and have been staying at my parent's house helping get ready! One of my BM drove up from VA! It was amazing - I can't wait to post pics!! I was so happy - I cried so much!! Oh, and my MOH made me the candle basket - which made the whole room cry and a HUGE box of decorations for every single holiday! My FMIL knitted me a beautiful blanket and gave me monogrammed stationary with my new name!

Sorry for writing so much - I'm just so overwhelmed and touched by everyone's generosity and love!

It was a busy weekend for the Sept brides - I had my shower on saturday as well! - it was beautiful and I was completely surprised...

For the favors they did a play on words...since my new last name will be 'Cooke' - they did a 'Cooke'book for everyone and all the guests submitted recipies. It was SO cool!
