My Shower was FABULOUS!!!
What an amazing day!!!!!
I am a little drunk on champagne punch! I wish I could have brought the punch home.
The decorations were amazing! The gifts were unbelievable and more then 60 people were there to celebrate with me. FMIL hired a bus to bring all her relatives from NJ, so they all came and were already a little drunk when they got there. I couldn't believe the turn out. And then the weather, what a beautiful day for an event on the water.
The food, which was Lessings by the way, was FABULOUS!!!! It was so good. And the maitre d was great, following me around making sure I had enough food and punch all day. We had a brunch and I can't tell you how good the French Toast was. I pigged out. The cupcakes were from Audreys, they were delicious and so cute. My mom actually put little brides and grooms in them that they got at Fat Cat Paperie in Center Moriches. Only problem was the food coloring was BRIGHT and everyone who ate the turquoise ones had turquoise mouths.
My bridesmaids were cute and involved, despite their lack of involvement in the planning. Everyone had good reasons for being *** and apologized to my mom, so I am just going to try to let it go, as long as they come through for the bachelorette party.
Off to my (future) house (since I live with my parents until the wedding), FH unloaded the loot. He is dying for me to get there so we can go through it. I will post pics later, I promise.
