My shower was Saturday!!

It was a great suprise shower at BAANG in Woodbury...the restaurant is closed for lunch so we had the whole place. The food was amazing and everyone loved it...it is asian style so the favors were a box of fortune cookies that had cute sayings about my FI and I. I can say the day flew by...I cant imagine how fast our wedding day will go.

I got tons of gifts but the best one was a scrapbook my bridal party put together for me. They had everyone (all my family and friends) create a page with special pictures, poems, letters and stories....everyone mailed their page to one of my BMs and they compliled this book. I cant tell you how amazing this book is. I cant stop looking at it...everyone was balling reading all the beautiful things in it.

Also, my future grandmother suprised me and came up from Florida...that meant the world to me.

Glad you had a good time! Mine was on Saturday too! I can't remember the name of the restaurant, but it's an Italian place in East Meadow - it used to be Mario's pizza place. The food was really good.

They did marriage advice cards (some were pretty funny) and recipe cards. My MOH made chocolate flower lolly pops in little burlap sacks filled with spring colored m&m's as the favor. My cousin surprised me with a poem that she wrote herself about marriage - it had everyone in tears.
I got a lot of nice gifts - I can't wait to use my ice cream maker tonight (neither can FH! )
