At the Carltun in Eisenhower Park - in the Palm Court - and it was AMAZING! Serious vendor rave here. The food was wonderful, the service was really top notch, and Mother Nature was shining down on me that day. My mom and sister did an amazing job - they wrapped hershey's bars with old pictures of FH and I from 9th grade to the present - that was embarrassing. The centerpieces were beautiful and they did personalized scratch off tickets for the ladies to win them! They were so cute and said 'Carla's Bridal Shower' on them.
My BP managed to get a polaroid camera and were taking candid shots the whole day and then made a scrap book for me and passed it around for everyone to sign near their picture - it was a really original, fun, interactive idea.
The Carltun's food was outstanding. They did a 1/2 hr ch with passed h'ors doeuvres and vegetables and then lunch was a choice of salmon, chicken, or pasta - all of which were so tasty!! The cake really blew me away though - it was gorgeous with all these sugar flowers on it. It was so beautiful, and BIG, in person. And it tasted delish. I really couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. Here are some pics . . . hopefully.
