my shower was sunday!

it was nice and i love my mom and the girls for getting me good - my mom was int he hospital this week but got out friday and came saturday to my shower...so it was an emotional day to say the least - fh's dad and fh were there too - it was sad b/c we all knew how much fun his mom woudl have had!! no one had a dig camera (and since i didn't know i didn't have one either!) but it was great to see everyone who was there!

awwe..thats so great your mom made it the day after getting out of the hospital!! Congratulations!!!!!

thanks girls - i know - itwa ssuch a surprise! i thought iwas going to my uncles surpirse birthdya party and half the reason i wasn't skeptical was my one bm had her niece's christening that day so i had completely knocked out the date - another bm had told me months ago that she had her friend 'sshower that day and then with the whoel thing with my mom i was clueless - in fact i was so sick (caught a cold while visitng mom in hosptial) that i told fh that morning i hoped it wasn't b/c i would cry i felt so crappy!

but all in all i felt beter once i got there - and the staff and food at millerdige was great!! it still seems so unreal though!! we got so much!!

Pschica, congratulations. It's wonderful you had your mom there with you.
Was your shower at the Milleridge Inn in Jericho (I think that's the town) or a different one? Please tell me how many people you had and how large the room is. I would love to have my friend's shower there. Am meaning to get over there to see it but haven't had the time.
