MY SHOWER WAS THIS PAST WEEKEND! FInally posting with **PICS**(PICS FIXED)
Hey ladies! I have been SO busy since sunday i barely had time to post this, but MY SHOWER WAS THIS PAST WEEKEND!!!
My mom and sisters did an EXCELLENT job planning everything! My bridal party was also great in doing all the games at the shower...which by the way, people LOVED! we played the purse game, a questionairre that quizzed me on how well i know FH (i did pretty good) and i think they played one before i got there.
It was at Jani Restaurant (chinese and japanese) in Rockville Centre! The food and service was EXCELLENT, they served everything family style, and they had this really good orange champagne drink YUMMY! And at the end they serve ice cream on these huge plates with all different flavors, it was more than i could have ever asked for! I definately recommend Jani for anyone who is planning a shower. The room was large...there was comfortably about 55 women there! (my friends kept saying to me....how do you know so many people? lol)
FOr anyone who is nervous for their shower...dont be, I really was but it was great! It went by so quick and everyone had a really good time.
My mom made all the centerpieces, which i LOVE so much,
she did the FAVORS, which were mini tape measurer key chains....which is SO very appropriate for me since we use them at my job all the time (i am an occupational therapist and we do a lot of wheelchair and home modifications, my work friends LOVED the favors)

MY CAKE...THIS IS FUNNY, MY SISTER THOUGHT MY MOM TOLD HER TO WRITE 'SHOWERS OF SURPRISES' instead of 'showers of happiness'...she tried to call and change what it said, but the people in the bakery had a hard time understanding my sister. lol. but the cake was SO YUMMY! they got me DOMINCAN CAKE...THERE WERE 2 OF THEM, one with guava, and one with tres leches.....SOOO GOOD!

and finally....my flowers from FH, he came in towards the middle of the shower with these beautiful flowers, and a stuffed animal one so that i could save it! this pic was taken later that night in my apt

the funny part of the whole thing is that Jani is one of my favorite restaurants, FH and I went there the night before the shower, lol! It was my idea though...FH and I go there and order in from there all the time since there is one close by our apt. My mom didnt even realize till after she booked the shower that I like it so much!
