My shower was this weekend!!!
My mom threw me a surprise shower at the Milleridge Carriage House. I was completely surprised. I thought it was next weekend b/c I got an inviation toa 'surprise' birthday party for my FH's uncle. I was shaking and crying.
Selena and Nadine at Milleridge worked with my mom and even got me to come out to Milleridge for our menu tasting. My mom said Selena at Milleridge was a pleasure to work with.
My mom did a wonderful job. She had pictures of me through the years all around the room. She also made a recipe card and heart cookie cutter with a recipe for Sugar cookies and even had the Milleridge Bakery make them for her to give out to the guests at the shower.The best surprise was my aunt from Florida came up for my shower. I was so happy to see her. That was the greatest gift I got.
I got almost everything from my registry. My mom and dad bought me our fine china. My cousins and MOH bought all of my Vera Wang goblets and wine glasses. I already put them in our china cabinet. And my FMIL and FFIL gave us all or our sheets and comforter for our bed and money for the dining room furniture.
My flowergirls each mad a basket full of stuff for the bathroomand kitchen. They were so cute.
The whole day flew by and before you knew it it was all over. I wish I had more time to spend with my guests. I just want to thank my mom for wonderful day. I will always remember it.
