My shower was today!

As some of you know, I knew about my shower b/c I'm a huge snoop! Nevertheless, I still turned bright red and looked shocked when everyone yelled 'surprise!' Even when you're expecting it, a group of 45 people can be overwhelming! My shower was at the Staaten (on staten island, where I live). It was beautiful. The room was decorated in lavender, white, and silver balloons, with lavender table cloths. The favors were body poof, with soap decorated with a palm tree (b/c we're going to Hawaii for our honeymoon). The food was excellent! My sister made up a game of 'Jackie trivia', which the younger of my two future sister in laws won. She also passed around a blank book for people to fill with marriage advice, and I read them aloud when they were all done. I got SO many presents, and it took so long to open them that I was just scrambling to do it before 4pm, which is when we had the room until. One of my BMs made me a terrific bow hat, one of the best I've ever seen! I don't have any pics yet, but once I get some, I will post them!

Sounds like a really great day, glad you had so much fun! (and as a fellow-snooper .. who says you have to be totally surprised to have a great time, right?)
