my shower was yesterday!
i am so overwhelmed. i had a slight feeling, but everyone played it off so well and threw me off in the morning. there were so many stories that i thought it couldn't possibly be.
my fi parents were supposed to leave to go down south, my bridesmaid was supposed to be going away, it was a party for my uncle, i got an invitation to a lunch for the following weekend. the best was that i was supposed to go to a graduation party last night for real and my mom had to call after i responded and say that i couldn't come.
everyone was so generous and we only got two duplicate gifts. i am completely overwhelmed and keep looking at everything and can't believe how generous everyone was, even my fi's family that i met for the first time yesteday.
It was at cafe testarosa in syosset. the food and the service were excellent, so was their cake. my mom has been getting phone calls about it all day today.
it was really great because a couple of the guys stayed. my fi, my dad, brother 2 uncles and my godfather. it made opening the presents so quick because the men all helped carry the stuff.
it was so much fun!!!
