MY SHOWER was YESTERDAY!

YAY!!!! It was so overwhelming and so exciting! My mom and FMIL and my MOH planned the whole thing in CT, which is where I live now... The place was absolutely beautiful and the food was sooo good I wish I ate more. I opened so many wonderful gifts...my favorite being a handmade Queen knitted quilt from my 87 year and ill Great Aunt. She lives in Michigan and had it sent to my mom...Someone had taken pictures of her knitting it as well and she put it with the blanket- It brought tears to my eyes because I know how long it took her and how difficult it must have been for her to do!

One BM was not able to attend but my bridal party bought me the most wonderful gifts, both things I needed/wanted and more meaningul and thoughtul gifts as well. I LOVED my day and I am soooo sad it is over now...There were so many people there from all over...and It was one of the best days so far! I felt so much like a bride!

The only bad thing is that it went too quickly...

I wanted to add some details

Each of the table numbers had pictures of FH and I (our engagement pictures)

My bride doll was beautiful, plus my mom got me the madame alexander bride doll and I collect those... and my cousin brought me bride and groom bears from when she was in Japan

My cousin the did the candle poem and the detergent poem, so cute

My MOH maid me the most adorable and useful Bay of Emergency Kit

My mom bought me the most beautiful lingerie- my pengior set is so gorgeous, It better fit for YEARS to come!

Also, something I really loved... my mother and father bought napkins with their last name initials (R) on their honeymoon in bermuda 34 years ago- and she gave them to me..fh's last name starts with an R, and even if I hyphenate It still works : )

My wishing well was SOOO pretty and they made me a towel cake that was amazing- I hope someone gots pictures of everything because every single detail was thought about!
