My Shower was yesterday!!
My shower was yesterday at Table 9 in East Hills!
I had an amazing time even though I had a few issues with members of my family (the 'real' host was my aunt who volunteered last year to throw me the shower but she slacked on planning so my mom had to step in the last two weeks and was up til 2pm every night preparing---my mom is AMAZING)!
The food was great and the decor of the restuarant is fabulous! Major props to my mom and FH who put together the plant table arrangements on Saturday night while I stuffed invitation envelopes!
My mom amade such cute shower favors---everyone got spa headbands with their initials and a small B&BW soap! My mom also did a project with all the girls for a recipe box! Since my aunt hated the idea of a wishing well (grr), this was the idea my mom came up with instead and I loved it!
In all, I'm a bit disappointed in some family members BUT my mother, FH's family, and all my amazing friends were so wonderful! I even had a some great friends as my gift unwrapper since I was struggling with my cast (including one pic with the cast showing but I did my best to have the cast stay out of pics![]()
