My Shower was Yesturday!
My sister threw me a shower yesturday. It's was sort of a surprise. I had heard my mom talking about it so I had a feeling it would be this weekend. Anyway it was at the Crystal Garden Chinese Buffett in Ronkonkoma. It was a really nice place, so big and roomy. They had a couple of parties going on there and every party had a separate room. It was so touching to have my family who mostly live in the city and Westchester make the long trip out to LI. FI family was also there and I was so grateful that they came.
I started to cry as soon as I saw my sister. I just felt so lucky to have all these people come out to a party for me. Anyway I got so much stuff that my tiny apt is cluttered and a mess. I don't have any pics but hopefully I can get some from my family when I see them next.
Oh yeah and the food was great so much to choose from and they gave everyone a take out tray to bring food home.

ETA: Sorry I forgot to ask. Is it true that if you get stuff off your registry that you get a certain percent off. I registered at Target and BBB and got some gift cards that I can use to get things that are still on the registries.
