My shower - with pictures
My shower was Saturday ( a little over 36 wks) and turned out to be great. I really won't get too in to it, because I doubt anyone would really want a review on a Buffalo Restaurant!![]()
I was so exhausted after coming to LI last weekend and then getting our house ready for the family/friends coming in for my shower and then the last minute external version. I was in quite a bit of pain and probably should have relaxed more than I did after all of it, but I just didn't have time too. We also had our breastfeeding class on Friday night (it was OK, but I honestly knew/read most of the stuff they went over.)
Anyways, my shower turned out to be great! I got SOOOO much more than expected and couldn't be happier! My crafty mom made us a Mickey/Minnie blankets and it turned out beautiful. I actually got teary eyed because she said she had to make both incase I had either a boy or a girl (picture at bottom.) She also made us a hat to bring the baby home in (in white.) I feel very lucky to have received everything that we did and my husband and I went through it and put most of it away already going 'OMG, I can't believe we got all of this beautiful stuff.'![]()
It all becomes more and more real the further I get. I can't believe I am just about 37 wks. I had my Dr appt today and he confirmed the baby is still head down and showed me and my husband how to keep checking.![]()
