My SIL is such a B**CH

What does everyone think about this conversation that I had with my brother's wife...

SIL: hi, i wanted to find out if you guys are registered somewhere
ME: nope
SIL: oh
ME: we pretty much have everything
SIL: ok. jimmy and i were wondering what to give you guys
ME: for the wedding day?
SIL: yes
SIL: not that we can afford too much right now since we just got a/c at home and re-lining the pool. LOL
ME: not to sound rude, but most people give money at a wedding
SIL: ok
SIL: well actually no. if people know that you're well off then usually it's gifts. that's why i asked if you were registered somewhere
ME: just get whatever you'd like to get us
SIL: ok, sure

Please keep in mind that her mother is also coming to the wedding, to watch their baby. So I have to pay for the biotch, my brother and her mother!

I don't think I would have come out and said 'most people give money'. I probably would have said-

'Whatever you can give would be greatly appreciated'

Even though we would all prefer cash- it is not right to say it sometimes.

You're probably right, but because I know her personality and how spiteful she can be, she just made me mad
