My sister is driving me nuts!
My sister is my MOH. She is 20, but a very immature 20. I also have a Matron of Honor who is in her 40s and 2 BMs who are my age (23). And as you all know from prior posts, my FMIL can be a little controlling. My Matron of Honor was going to be the one to keep my FMIL involved in my shower, but reasonably so she wouldn't take the whole thing over. My sister has gone around her and has scheduled my shower directly with my FMIL. She hasn't contacted the other BMs to make sure the date was good with them or if they had any input. My Matron of Honor is trying not to stress me out, but she's getting annoyed because she knows nothing and she has to book a flight here because she lives in Florida. Not to mention that invitations haven't gone out yet. When I try talking to my sister, explaining no one wants to take control away from her, but they want to be involved and need to know dates, she gets mad and tells me she knows what she's doing and she'll call everybody, but never does. She wants me to stay out of it. Grrrrr! I know she wants to do something nice for me because I always did that for her growing up since she was like my daughter because my Mom lives in Florida. I threw her graduation party and am always doing things for her, so I get that she kind of wants to do the same for me now, but why can't she just listen and be open to letting everybody help!?!![]()
