My sister is driving me nuts

Went to pick out bridesmaids dresses today. All my party liked one dress which looked good on all of them. My sister decided she didnt like it. Made it so difficult. I dont understand why people are so selfish. She didnt like any of the dresses that came in the color i wanted. She chose a dress that was a different material and all the girls said it wouldnt look good in the pics. Now she backed out of my wedding for the second time. My FH is so tired of the drama. Always difficult to deal with her. I did put my foot down though. Now im upset. For her wedding i went with whatever she wanted and she was a true bridezilla and we all went with it. Im i right to be upset? Help

what do you mean, she backed out of your wedding? she doesn't want to be in it because of the dress? Is she your MOH?

personally, I'd kick her out if she is causing all these problems. I chose only to have one MOH and no bridesmaids b/c i can't deal with girl drama at all. Good luck

She is a bridesmaid. I am closer to my cousin and I know if she was my MOH she would make me go insane. We actually had an argument over something so stupid a few months ago and she backed out then, by the way the argument had nothing to do with the wedding so I dont understand why she trys to pull that nonsense. . I swallowed my pride and asked her to come with us and she decided to go and again made it difficult. We are not close because she is very hard to get a long with. Its hard because my niece is my flower girl and she is such a good girl and it just makes me sad. My BMs and MOH say its her and that i should put my foot down. So im not going through this drama anymore. Shes out and thats it. Its not fair to my FH to constantly be stressed out when we are supposed to be happy.

This sounds like your are talking about MY sister!! My sister is also h e l l to deal with...although backing out is a little extreme!! My sister also doesn't like the color, the style, the fabric....she started trying on other dresses after she was done trying on the dress I picked...and she still talks about it, and everything she hates about the color, and she wants to wear what she wants.....blah blah.....

I can't even express how horrible she is to deal with regarding her wedding apparral....

FUN TIMES!!

Thanks. LOL. I actually told my BMs to pick out dresses that came in my color. I did give them that option and she still basically didnt like anything. So tuff. So much fun.

Sorry you have to deal with this. I have to say, the MOST stressful part of my wedding has been the bridesmaid dresses. Nothing else has even come close (so far, I will keep my fingers crossed)

You know, I really dont understand why people complain about bridesmaid dresses? You are only asking them to wear it for ONE DAY, not the rest their lives. What the heck is the big deal?

I'm sorry your sister is behaving like this. She needs to get over it and realize this day is about you not her. I think you did the right thing though by putting your foot down. I hope things get better!
