My sister made me cry

So last night we are eating dinner and my sister (who is also my MOH) turned to my FH and I and in all seriousness told us that after we get married for me to still live at my house and FH still live at his house and for him to just come get me at night to go out. She said that it is only fair b/c she does not want me to leave.

This is the first time since I have gotten engaged that my sister is actually showing emotion towards me leaving. I knew it bothered her b/c she would always make jokes like turning my room into a gym or if my parents buy a dog it could live in my room. So i knew that was her way of making light of things. This was the first time that she actually admitted that she will miss me.... Even thinking about it now has me in tears!!! I have two younger sisters, one is 17 and the other is 13.... boy am i going to miss them!

I have been in your shoes. However my sisters are 5 and 9. I moved out Summer of 2006. I did cry because they were so upset that I moved out. They still ask me to sleep over there, or that I can have my old room back...
It is tough when you are that close.

Aaaaaawwwww So sweet! My two sisters practically packed my bags for me when I got engaged Even now I dont 'officially' live with FH but I spend the majority of my time at his place and whenever I do go back 'home' both my sisters get this worried look on their face like 'Uh Oh, are you coming back?'

Aww what a cutie Now you will just have to visit them every night!

I have 2 sisters, and we have that love hate relationship, i never wanted to express my emotions to my older sister when she got married and moved to florida, I always made jokes and said I am so happy that she's moving hundreds of miles away. and i think i believed that until her last day in NY, i broke down and cried like a baby, i couldnt believe how torn up I was, I made her cry too. . .she didnt know what to do, she was shocked that i even felt that way.

Its hard leaving a sibling, but dont worry, the distance will make the bond grow stronger.

i don't have a sister but my brother in all seriousness tells me that he can't wait for me to move out.. i know he's saying that just to hide his feelings.. u gotta love your siblings.. regardless of all the fights and tears.. they're the best!!

AWWWW thats really sweet. My mom told m ethe other day that she wishes I still lived there...very sad. Haven't lived there in a long time though. I do wish I lived closer

aww that is emotional I have two sisters also ( I am the youngest) and seeing the first one move out when she got married was upsetting my other sister moved around the same time as me so it still was upsetting but not too much- it definitely is an adjustment but after a while it turns out to be a good adjustment. Now you will be the older sister that they can come visit and sleepover (that is even more fun)
