So below I have attached pics of my FH's tux, the vest the groomsmen will be wearing, and vest my FH will be wearing. I think they look great together! My sister says, and I quote 'That I have to talk my fiance out of that ugly paisley vest because paisley and pinstripes don't go.' I told her that we spent an hour on Saturday researching and this is really what Jordan, my FH wants and I think it looks lovely together. Her response and I quote (get this) 'Well I am gonna be a wedding planner and I am telling you it doesn't look right and it will mess up your pictures. But whatever, they aren't my pictures!'
ARE YOU F*ING KIDDING ME?!?!
Please tell me your honest opinions do these things not go?? Please note the vest and bow tie shown in the picture with the Ralph Lauren tux are a deep navy PAISLEY!
It is your wedding and all that matters is that you guys like it - if you like it now, you will like it in your pictures. I don't think everything needs to be matchy-matchy. (Also, on the ivory the design is not so noticeable.)
I will be honest, I am not sure that I personally would go with paisley and strips - but all that matters is that you like it.
As for the picture, I see that more as a diamond design than a paisley but no huge difference. Just pick something you like. What others think is just their opinion.

I agree...Its what you want...Everyone has an opinion. I am personally not sure about this combo (I feel like its something I'd have to see in person and then will like it), but she shouldn't be so negative! The only people that matter is your and FH's opinion

I say do what you want...she can just deal with it... I personally am not a fan of the paisley but we all have different tastes and you do what you two love....and I say if FH is happy then just go with it....some times men are so hard to please!! LOL

I guess I am just second guessing our decision but the truth of the matter FH really loves it and was begging me for it and why shouldn't he have what makes him happy right? I get to wear what I want so he should be able to also!! I just want him to be happy on our big day!

You really have to go with whatever you and Fh like. Trust me everyone will have an opinion about something and it will drive you crazy! When those people with opinions get married than they can choose what they want. There will be some things people love and some things they do not. Just try to ignore the annoying comments (I have to do it all the time, and it is hard I know) and do what makes you happy, your wedding has to be a blend of both ur personalities. Go for it!

i agree... us LIwedding girls don't usually let our Fhs pick much and since he is the one wearing it he has to love it...if he does then you have nothing to worry about !!!

You're a fashionista, what do you think? I love the way the ivory one looks but I am a bit unsure about the pattern on the silver because it is so prominent. What do you think?

I actually really like the paisley but I think it would go better with a solid not striped suite. But then again it's hard to tell without seeing it together.
