Also The Pact (its going to be amovie I think) Perfect Match, and Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult are good ones. There are a few that are a bit slow to get into, I have to return to those...Like Picture Perfect.

Can you tell I like to read? If you ever need a book Reccomendation, just FM me!! I read 'em all!

The Pact was soooooo good!! I still haven't read any of her others besides those two. Are they really making it into a movie? I always drag FH to Sparks' movies so now I have to drag him to this!! Oh well!

Re: My Sister's Keeper

So I'm reading this whole thread, and throughout, people are recommending Jodi Picoult books and I'm thinking: 'i read a good one last year... with the sisters... I should recommend that, what's it called?' And I was about to hit 'Reply' when I remembered that it was 'My Sister's Keeper.' Oops. I've seriously been trying to come up with the name of that book for like 5 minutes.

I was reading that book on a plane and a stranger came up to me and started gushing about the book, and recommended 'The Pact' to me so I've always meant to read it too.

And that reminds me, not to be too cliche, but another book that I read on a plane and couldn't put down was 'The Lovely Bones.' Tearjerker city. They're making that into a movie too - of all people, Peter Jackson (the guy who did the Lord of the Rings movies) bought the rights!

I agree, I didn't enjoy it either. I felt like a freak. I'm glad I'm not alone...

I liked Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman... That was a good book. Chock full of metaphors, read between the lines.

My sister had read a ton of her books and said they're all great so I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of them. I'm going to read Vanishing Act next.
