So she wasn't REALLY surprised about the date but she was really surprised with the theme and all the details which made allllll the work and headaches of planning this thing on my own, worth it. lol

The shower was a cooking/kitchen theme since my sister LOVES to cook. I did cooking utensils as the favors, salt and pepper shakers for the place cards and everyone went home with a personalized apron too! (Like I said it was A LOT of work. lol)

She got a TON of gifts and everyone seemed to have a great time.

I'm attaching some pictures below!

EDITED: I had to edit this to give a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG thank you to my FH who helped me with A LOT of stuff and stayed for the whole shower as our 'professional video/photo' guy for the day so I wouldn't have to worry about getting all the pictures while doing everything else. He kept me sane and made the day just run A LOT smoother!

STEVE YOU ARE THE BEST!

thanks again girls! The shower was at Roma View in Howard Beach. The menu's were actually stapled to the recipe card given to my sister from my Aunt (who doesn't cook) and the instructions on the recipe card was 'Pick up phone and dial.'

Even though she knew, she didn't admit it after she got to the shower cause she knew I was TRYING to keep it a surprise, so she was still a good sport about it.

ack! i am so glad it went well!!!

everyone HAS to know how much work Lori put into this shower. . . she has been working on it 24/7 for such a long time!!

Did you know that she knew about the date? Or did you find out later?

She must have been so happy!!

You did a great job and you are a great sister! Now you can RELAX a little bit until her wedding!

Thanks Matilde! Yea I'm definitely working on the RELAXING part now.
