tell me about it... everyday there are more people to invite... I am concerned we aren't going to fit in the room... and all I hear is...'what's one more person...'...

We started with a list of about 148 and we're up to 205!!

Oh man, hearing this makes me very nervous.. our combined list is about 120.. and it started out at 75..

I hoping it will end up being about 110p

we were planning on inviting 200 - having about 180 - the final list was over 300
we are at 240 attending right now. (hopefully that is my last and final count!)

my guest list started out at 50 people, then it went to 80 and now it is over 100. i am going to have to switch the room at my hall, because the room i have only fits 80

Oh my goodness... I don't even know how many people are invited (193 invitations went out on Saturday) and dont even want to know how many are coming.

I know the feeling- last night I asked my mom- are all these people going to fit in the church? I never thought that I would be happy to receive no responses- I just hope I get a lot of them

Well, at least I'm not alone. I wanted a max of 120 people. I realized this may be unreasonable so I said, 'Fine, 150.' Ahem, the list is at 255. And, only 98 total are from my friends and family and FH has the tiniest little family ever. Explain that one to me.

Our list went from 80-86.

We put our foot down and made sure the list stayed below 100.

When we booked our hall they told us the min was 175 and i never thought we would reach that. well, i just sent out my invitations and we invited 276 people

I completely understand!!
All my life I only wanted a small wedding, on a beach with only my 'nearest and dearest'. Now I am having a wedding for 370 of my 'nearest and dearest'
We have 206 invitations going out. Believe it or not, we even have a B list!!!
Since I am getting married over Thanksgiving weekend, we are REALLY hoping people will not be able to make it due to the holiday. I realize it sounds awful that we don't want people to attend, but after all, I still have bills to pay!! In all fairness, both FH and I have a big family so that doesn't help. Both of our parents are also very social (as are FH and I) so that's why so many people.
My excuse when people bring up my adolescent fantasy is that in all those years, the person I was marrying never had a face, it was MY fantasy. Now that I am marrying FH, I want to celebrate with everyone!!!

I want a wedding for 100. The list is at 150. Not too bad, but it still gives me anxiety. I don't know how you girls with 300+ do it! I am desperate to keep things feeling 'intimate' and I'll be darned if I spend my whole day saying hello to people I barely know!

We started at 320 went down to 280 and the number keeps creeping up. I think we'll end up with approx. 300 people invited. Even better - pretty much all of our OOT guests have told us they are coming - and booked flights!
